Product Description
JINSP RS2000PAT is an online Raman analyzer developed for continuous liquid-component measurement and reaction/process trend monitoring. Its application range includes demanding chemical processes where in-situ analytical information is required.
For paraxylene production, RS2000PAT can be configured for real-time monitoring of C8 aromatic composition within adsorption separation systems.

Industrial PX production commonly uses adsorption separation to separate a C8 aromatic mixture consisting of:
Because of the similar boiling points of these components, adsorption-based separation provides an important alternative to conventional distillation.
RS2000PAT can be deployed with industrial Raman probes positioned at selected locations in the adsorption tower. The resulting Raman measurements provide continuous information about the concentration distribution of the process mixture.

Industrial Probe Configurations
For process integration, the RS2000PAT documentation specifies several PR300 Raman probe installation options.
A top-mounted reactor configuration can use a Hastelloy probe with temperature resistance from -20 to 200°C and pressure resistance up to 4 MPa. Side-mounted and process-pipeline configurations use Hastelloy C276 and customizable flange arrangements.
Control-System Integration
The analyzer provides RS485 and RJ45 Ethernet interfaces and supports Modbus communication, allowing analytical results to be transferred to industrial control systems.
PX Application Result
In the demonstrated PX application, Raman analysis is used to identify PX within the complex C8 aromatic background. The application reports a PX quantitative deviation of less than 0.07%.
This analytical information can be used to monitor concentration distribution, support process-parameter adjustment and optimize adsorbent operating cycles.
Suitable For
RS2000PAT provides a direct Raman-based route to continuous process composition measurement where conventional offline analysis may not provide sufficiently frequent data.
